Karen Wichert is the owner and principal of Mountain Pacific Interiors. An award winning interior designer with over 20 plus years experience in the industry. Karen has worked with a wide range of clients both nationally and internationally.

She has an extensive background and speciality with hospitality design, retail, high end residential design and commercial office interiors. Designing and managing the construction for both small of large scale projects. As well as providing the coordination of the furniture, fixtures and custom woodwork.

Many of her projects have been featured in the Style Section of the Globe and Mail newspaper, Air Canada’s enRoute magazine, Conde Nast Traveler and Great American Kitchens.

INTERIOR DESIGN CREDENTIALS

Karen holds a Bachelor of Interior Design Degree from Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario. As well as additional education with building codes and project management. She has been a part time interior design instructor and believes in giving back to the community.

Karen has also worked for several top Interior Design and Architectural firms over the years in Vancouver, BC. Including Kasian Architecture, SSDG, and Portico Design Group. She has a vast amount of experience and produced several commercial and residential projects while working for these firms in Vancouver, BC and abroad. With extensive international interior design experience in Doha, Dubai and Morocco.

Karen’s dedication for great design is enduring and committed. She is a purist and a perfectionist. No detail is left unattended, and quality is paramount.
