For the hotel’s convention centre, Sanders took inspiration from the period’s masters. Carpets imitate the deco designs of Eliel Saarinen, like those that lie in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her chairs and sofas reinterpret Paris’s legendary Paul Iribe and Marcel Coard.”
